Aamir makes a heartfelt request for his fans to support the victims of Assam and Gujarat Floods.
The 52-year-old star, who is currently said to be working on two projects, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and ‘Secret Superstar’, has shared a video message on Twitter urging everyone to come together to support those affected by the floods in Assam and Gujarat.
Aamir Khan has asked his fans and followers on social media to help the flood-stricken states of Assam and Gujarat by contributing in the Chief Minister Relief Fund of both states.
Aamir Khan’s show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ created awareness among the people with its two season. Also some of the suggestions and requests made on his show were implemented. He knows how to utilise his star power in the right situation.
In his Twitter video he said, “Some areas of Gujarat and Assam are terribly affected by floods. People are facing a tough time. Many have lost their lives. We are helpless in front of nature, but can surely do something for our brothers and sisters. Let us come together and help the people in Gujarat and Assam. Let us contribute in the Chief Minister Relief Fund of both the states. I will also do the same as well. Thank you”.

In Gujarat as more than 25,000 people have been evacuated from parts of north and central Gujarat. The death toll in the state has reached 128 till Friday morning. In Assam it has destroyed over 2.10 lakh hectares of crop area in Assam.
