Oh No! Ayesha Takia’s Husband Farhan Threatened Having Indulged In Love Jihad
Inter-caste marriage has always been opposed in our country, specially Hindu-Muslim wedding. People have strongly opposed their near and dear ones and now even the celebrities not spared for this.
Ayesha Takia’s husband Farhan Azmi has received death threats from a political outfit for marrying a Hindu girl. A leading website stated that Farhan Azmi filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police on 26th July for the same.
Farhan’s complained that the political party named Hindu Sena, which operates out of Rajasthan, threatened him for allegedly having indulged in love jihad.
The website further stated, “You all are animals. Have you forgotten that you have indulged in Love Jihad by marrying a Hindu girl?”
It further stated, “The aggressor, in no uncertain terms, extended death threats to the undersigned and his family…”
According to the complaint, the threat call was targeted at Ayesha’s politician father-in-law – Abhu Azmi, who is the political outfit is reportedly offended by Abu Azmi’s comments about singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s stance on azaan or the morning call to prayer.
Ayesha and Farhan tied the knot in 2008. The couple is blessed with a son named Mikail.
