Aamir Khan has a gentle reminder for CBFC at trailer launch of ‘Secret Superstar’

Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is back with another classic ‘Secret Superstar’, after breaking the records with ‘Dangal’ last year. The upcoming film is a story of a 14 year old girl who has certain dreams and aspirations.

We are aware of the fact that Aamir Khan chooses scripts that touches his heart. He doesn’t go by the commercial value of the project. Similar thing happened when his former manager Advait Chandan approached him with a story of young, aspiring singer. The actor loved it so much that he not only decided to produce it under his banner Aamir Khan Productions’ but also featuring in it as a ‘creepy musician’.

The actor who puts all his blood and sweat in each project he takes, feels disappointed when Central Film Board of Certification (CBFC) chops the scenes.

At the trailer launch of ‘Secret Superstar’, Aamir spoke on CBFC proposing 48 cuts to the makers of Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Babumoshai Badookbaaz’.

On being asked that whether Pahlaj Nihalani is killing the creativity of artists by demanding cuts, Aamir said, “I really feel that censorship is… I don’t know how it is relevant. Board should grade the movies, not make cuts.”
