Jawan injured after terrorists attack army camp in Kupwara

As per latest reports, an army jawan got injured after activists attacked an army camp in Kalaroose’s forest region, in border Kupwara region of north Kashmir on August 11 late night.
As per authorized sources, a group of terrorists considered to be newly infiltrated, hit army’s 41 RR (Rashtriya Rifle) headquarter camp that is situated in upper belt of Kalaroose forest next to line of control.
“The indiscriminate fire continued on the RR headquarters for at least 10 minutes. The troops retaliated, resulting in a brief clash”, they added.
During the shocking episode, an army jawan of 21 J&K Rifles got badly injured and has been taken to military hospital in Drugmulla.
In addition to 41 RR, the army camp also houses troopers of other divisions comprising 21 J&k Rifles.
Shortly after the activists attack, the army commenced a huge man chase with the assistance of strengthening of Para commandos on all surfaces neighbouring the camp, they added up.
The areas that have been cordoned include upper belt of Kalaroose forests and Kunnad, Kani Behak, Manigah, Chat forest areas of Batpora Haihama.
This activist attack arrives only 3 days prior to 15 August, commemorating seventieth Independence Day of India.
Woman Killed In Poonch Division
A woman got murdered in attack by Pakistani troops next to the Line of Conttol in Balakot division of Poonch region.
As per Defence Ministry reportss, the Pakistani activists resorted to heavy unprovoked firing at about 5 am. The injured female was recognized as Ruqia Bi.
The defence ministry has offered its nod to an offer proposing a necessity of 544 robots, army spokespersons stated.
“The way the situation is evolving (in J&K), it may just be a matter of time when security forces as a whole, and Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in particular, will be facing the threat in built-up and super built-up areas,” an army spokesperson said.
The “lightweight and rugged” robotic machines will be able to pick inputs and broadcast from a range of 200 metres.
