Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin recently uploaded a picture on her Official Instagram account, which didn’t go well with her followers. The actress sported a nude look without any intention of publicity. The black and white pic of Kalki shows her bare back with her tresses over her face which can be hardly seen. She sported an intense look in the pic.
But, people couldn’t let it go, and started shamming her like they do any other actress. The picture received more than 300 comments. While some people appreciated her, few haters slammed her with ugly comments. Here are few things that people wrote:
“Nudity limit me rakho, Indian culture ko barbaad tum jaise log kar rahe ho,” while some comments asked her to stop this ‘Show-off’.
The positive comments read, ‘Brave Kalki, keep rocking’.
But Kalki didn’t choose to ignore, and instead gave a befitting reply to those who shammed her. She proudly said that she isn’t ashamed of whatever she does.
In an interview with mid-day, Kalki said, “As women, we often are depicted through a man’s perspective, but this picture was clicked by a woman photographer. That’s why I found it significant to share the photograph.”
She had no bad intent behind posting this picture, but still people to slam her for posting ‘provoking’ picture.
In an interview with news agency IANS last year, Kalki Koechlin said, “Of course it affects me, but I have learnt to stop responding to them.”
