Koena Mitra Lodges Police Complaint For Being Harassed Over The Phone
Koena Mitra has been away from limelight since quite sometime now. However, the lady is in news and the reason is really shocking.
The actress has received lewd calls from an unknown person and has harassed her a lot. Yes, you heard it right!
Koena has lodged a complaint at the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai stating that she received calls from an unknown person asking her for a night out. She has also registered a sexual harassment complaint after receiving nearly 40-50 unknown calls. That’s quite shocking!
Koena confirmed the news with a popular news portal and said, “I will give statements after I get results from Mumbai police. Thanks.”
A police official said, “We have booked the caller under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC and are investigating the case further.”
The report further stated, “After Koena finally decided to answer the phone, the caller started abusing her, following which he asked her on a night out, offering her money.”
Well, we hope Koena gets justice soon!
