Rajkummar Rao’s web series ‘Bose -Dead/Alive’ trailer is out!

Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming venture Bose: Dead/ Alive, starring Rajkummar Rao in the titular role of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose teaser is out.

The trailer begins with a voiceover which says, “The world thinks Bose is dead”. From Netaji’s most famous speech, “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom,” to his allegiance to war and the fight for peace is all highlighted beautifully in the trailer.

Titled Bose-Dead/Alive, the show is an unraveling of India’s biggest cover up, based on the life of Subhash Chandra Bose. Rajkumar will be seen as Netaji in a new digital series. On the demand of the character, he has shaved the crown of his head to look convincing.

The web series is directed by Hansal Mehta and it is an attempt to bring alive the story of Bose to the current generation, says Hansal Mehta, who described him a “rockstar”.
