Shocking! Kannada actor Guru Jaggesh stabbed
Kannada actor Guru Jaggesh, son of actor-politician Jaggesh, was stabbed on Monday morning at RT Nagar in Bengaluru, according to a Times of India report. The actor was said to have gone to drop his children to school when the incident happened.
The report further states that he got into a heated argument with a man, who was speeding on his motorcycle. Things took a turn for worse when the miscreant took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed the actor in his thigh.
He was rushed to a hospital where he is now being treated. A case has been registered and police have started their investigation.
Talking about the shocking incident, Guru’s father told the news channels,“Guru had gone to drop the kids to school on that morning. On the way, there was an altercation between my son and some miscreants which led to the misfortune.”
Gururaj made his acting debut in 1994 with Beda Krishna Ranginata, which had his father Jaggesh. He then went on to write the story of his father’s movie Makeup, which released in 2002. He acted in Tamashegagi (2007) along with his uncle Komal. However, his claim to fame came in 2009 with the film, Gilli, which was a remake of Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony. He played a lead role in the film. In 2012 he acted in Guru, which was again directed by his father and followed it up with films like Sankranthi and Paipoti. Currently he is shooting for Leader, which also stars Shiva Rajkumar.
