Divorces and break-ups are very common in Film industry. There ate many celebs who got divorced after their first marriage didn’t work out, and then they went on to remarry. But there have also been some celebs who remarried without getting divorced from first marriage.
Here are 5 such celebs:
1- Raj Babbar:
Raj Babbar was married to Nadira. But then, he fell in love with Smita Patil after they worked in many films together. They both then went on to marry, without Raj giving divorce to Nadira. Raj and Smita had a son together Prateik Babbar. However, Smita died at the age of 31 due to child birth complications. After her death, Raj went back to first wife Nadira with whom he has two kids, Juhi and Arya Babbar.
2- Udit Narayan:
Famous singer Udit Narayan was happily married to Deepa. But then, he was embroiled in a big controversy when a woman named Ranjana Narayan claimed that she is his first wife. And therefore, his second marriage is not legal. She revealed to the media, that they both married in year 1984 and Udit re-married without divorcing her. The matter was settled, after Udit agreed to pay a monthly stipend to Ranjana.
3- Dharmendra:
Dharmendra was married to Prakash with whom he had two sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. But the actor then fell in love with dream-girl Hema Malini, and was desperate to marry her. Since, two marriages are not allowed according to Hindu laws, and Prakash was not ready to divorce him therefore, Dharmendra and Hema converted to Islam to marry. They have two daughters: Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Dharmendra now manages both the families.
4- Sanjay Khan:
Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan married Zarine Khan after they dated for long time. The couple was blessed with a son Zayed Khan and daughters Farah Ali Khan and Sussanne Khan.
But the, the actor fell in love with beautiful actress Zeenat Aman during the shoot of ‘Abdullah’ and soon they tied the knot, without Sanjay giving divorce to Zarina. But his second marriage ended with a year. It is said that Sanjay was given an ultimatum by Zarina and therefore, they he ended marriage with zeenat.
Zeenat then went on to marry Mazhar Khan.
5- Salim Khan:
Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan married his first wife Salma after a courtship of five years. They together had children Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira.
But then, writer Salim married actress Helan too, who then adopted Arpita. The huge family now lives together.
