Death is inevitable, we have been told that time and again. But when a young life is lost, the universal truth of death does not provide much solace. And if that young life has been ended by one’s own choice, the shock and pain is even more difficult to bear.

Take a look at these famous TV stars who bid adieu to the world at a very early age. While some met with tragic accidents, some forcefully ended their lives.

1. Pratyusha Banerjee

On 1 April 2016, TV’s most famous actress and Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha committed suicide and was found hanging in her Mumbai apartment according to the post-mortem report the cause of death was asphyxia. The actress was living-in with her beau Rahul Raj Singh who was suspected behind Pratyusha’s suicide. However, the actual reason behind her death is still not revealed.

2. Abir Goswami

Abir was a famous TV actor who was had worked in popular shows like Kkusum and Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. He had a bright future in the entertainment industry. However, everybody was shocked when Abir died an untimely death due to a cardiac arrest in 2013. The cardiac arrest happened when he was running on the treadmill. Moreover, he’d also been undergoing treatment for Lymphoma.

3. Sanjit Bedi

Sanjit Bedi, who shot to fame with popular TV serial Sanjivani passed away on June 23, 2015 due to a prolonged illness. He was known for his role as Dr. Omi in Sanjivani. The actor also starred in shows like Jaane Kya Baat Huyi, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and few others. According to reports, Bedi was suffering from a brain virus and was in coma for sometime.

4. Kuljeet Randhawa

The bold and beautiful beauty of TV Kuljeet was an actor and model. She was famous for her brave and women centric character in TV series like C.A.T.S., Special Squad and Kohinoor. On 8 February 2006, Kuljeet hanged herself in her apartment in Juhu. In a suicide note, Kuljeet stated that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life’s pressures.

5. Rubina Shergill

Rubina, who played the second bahu Simran, a brave cop in Zee TV’s Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, passed away on 12th Jan, 2012 due to asthma attack. The actress was in coma for few weeks and was on ventilation support but, unfortunately she lost her battle.
